Privacy Policy
Who we are
Kampus Merah Dev (kampusmerah.dev) is the personal workshop of Ziffany Firdinal. homelab-offsite is a private tool built and used only by its owner to keep encrypted off-site copies of the owner's home-lab backups in the owner's own Google Drive. It is not offered to the public.
Google user data we access
The application requests a single Google OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. With this scope it can only see and manage files and folders that the application itself created. It cannot read, list, or modify any other file in the user's Google Drive.
How the data is used
- The application uploads, lists, verifies, and deletes its own backup files in a dedicated folder, according to a retention schedule.
- All backup content is encrypted on the owner's machine before upload. Google stores only ciphertext; the encryption keys are never sent to Google or to any third party.
- The data is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or training any machine-learning model.
Storage and sharing
OAuth tokens are stored only on the owner's own servers. No Google user data is sold, rented, or shared with anyone. No data is transferred to third parties, except where required by law.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Backup files are kept for as long as the owner's retention schedule requires and are then deleted automatically. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; files created by the application can be deleted directly from Google Drive.
